Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

Serenity Tech Services LLC ("Serenity Tech Services", "I", "me") provides in-home and remote technology help in the Hockessin, Delaware area. I'm a one-person business, and I treat your information the way I'd want my own family's treated. This policy explains what I collect, how I use it, who it's shared with, and the choices you have.

Information I collect

• When you send a request on this website: your name, email address, phone number (optional), town or ZIP code, the kind of help you need, and the message you write.
• When you call, text or email me: whatever you choose to share, such as your contact details and a description of the problem.
• When you become a customer: appointment details, notes about your devices and the work I did, and records of what you paid.
• Payments: card payments are processed by Square. I see the amount, date and the last digits of the card, but never your full card number.
• Basic technical information: like every website, the service that hosts this site receives your device's IP address and browser type when you visit. I don't use this to identify or track you.

How I use it

• To respond to your request, schedule visits and provide the help you asked for
• To send a confirmation of your request, appointment details, invoices and receipts
• To keep records of the work done, so I can help you better next time
• To meet tax, accounting and legal requirements

I don't send marketing emails unless you've asked to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who I share it with

I never sell your personal information. I share it only with the services that help me run the business, and only as needed:

• Google (Google Workspace): my business email and phone line, and where website requests are stored and processed
• Square: payment processing
• Remote support tools: only when you start a remote session with me
• Website hosting and fonts (GitLab, Google Fonts): receive your IP address to deliver this website
• Professional advisors such as an accountant, and authorities when required by law

Information on your devices

When I work on your computer, phone or other devices, I only look at what's needed to solve the problem. I don't keep copies of your files or passwords. If a job requires a temporary copy (for example, moving your photos to a new computer), I delete my copy once the job is done.

Cookies, tracking and "Do Not Track"

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media trackers, and I don't collect information about your activity on other websites. Because I don't track visitors, browser "Do Not Track" signals don't change how this site works. I don't allow other companies to collect information about your online activities over time and across websites through this site.

How long I keep it

• Requests that don't lead to a visit: up to 2 years
• Customer, job and payment records: up to 7 years, as tax rules require

After that, the information is deleted.

How I protect it

Business accounts are protected with two-step verification, connections are encrypted, access is limited to me and the services listed above, and backups are kept securely. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your information is something I take seriously; it's a big part of what I help customers with.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to stop contacting you. Email support@callserenitytech.com or call (302) 499-2994. I'll respond within 30 days. I may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as payment records for taxes.

Children

This website isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If a change significantly affects how I use information you've already given me, I'll also let you know by email.
